Donna West Scholarship

ASA Sno-King Donna West Memorial Scholarship

The Sno-King unit of Automotive Service Association of Washington
is pleased to announce the
Donna West Memorial Scholarship in the amount of $500.  This scholarship is dedicated to the memory of Donna F. West, who lost her battle with cancer on March 8, 2009.  Donna was co-owner, with her husband Mike,
of Southtowne Auto Rebuild in Tukwila.

This scholarship is available to assist students who are entering, continuing, or completing their education above high school level in the automotive repair or collision field.  The selection criteria includes financial need, demonstrated desire to further their education, and academic aptitude.

In addition to completing the attached application, applicants must submit one letter of recommendation from a recent faculty member, or recent employer if out of high school more than 2 years, and an academic transcript.

MUST BE RECEIVED BY THE ASA-WA OFFICE NO LATER THAN June 15th OF EACH YEAR

This scholarship will be considered and award by the current ASA-WA Sno-King Board of Officers each year, or by those designated by the Board.  The check will be made out to the recipient and the school of choice.  The scholarship receipient will be notified by mail by July 15th.

Students MAY NOT apply if they were awarded the Donna West Memorial Scholarship in the previous year.
