Semi-Annual Retreat & Management Conference
June 23-26, 2011 in Vancouver, WA - The Heathman Lodge 
The Automotive Service Association of Washington (ASA-WA) members recently met in Vancouver, Washington for our semi-annual retreat and management conference.
We started out the retreat with either a free day or golfing on Thursday.












On Friday, we had the Board of Director’s meeting, followed by the General business session and the Ascettes business meeting. That evening we traveled down to “Big Al’s” in Vancouver for an evening filled with a Western BBQ buffet, followed by 2 hours of games. Bowling, Arcade games, Billiards, and Shuffle Board. Big Al’s has something for everyone and every age.
On Saturday morning, we were fortunate to have Bill Haas, Vice President, Training and Education as our AMI approved speaker with the topic of “Marketing Automotive Service to Generations X and Y. Bill enlightened all the members who attended this class.
After the AMI Seminar, Pat Jollota joined us as our guest speaker. Pat gave us a history overview of Vancouver, Washington and informed us that the first Kaiser automobile was built in Vancouver.
Following lunch the Mechanical and Collision roundtable was held and the Ascettes traveled into Vancouver to the Firehouse Glass for an awesome demonstration!
