Joel Baxter

Joel Baxter, co-owner of B & B Auto Repair, Inc. of Bremerton was named ASA-WA's Outstanding Member of the Year for 1999.  This prestigious award was iven to Joel by ASA-WA's President Tom Smith.

Joel has been a shop owner for over twenty years.  Together with his brother Nathan, they have been ASA-WA members since 1992.  Joel is very serious about the future of our industry and helping young people in the community to see the value of education.  Joel is an extremely active person and still finds time to speak to various automotive classes, volunteer at career days and opens their shop to hold technicial clases.

Joel serves on eight automotive advisory boards in varying capacities, from President to Board Member.  He has served on his local unit board in all capacities.  B & B Auto Repair has also received nunerous awards pertaining to environmental issues.

Together with his wife Doris, he still manages to find quality time to spend with his family.
